2nd General Meeting of the Myanmar-Japan Platform for Human Resource Development Held in Tokyo

The meeting began with greetings from Ichiro Aisawa, a member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Japan-Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association (JMPFA), which was followed by explanations about the establishment of the operating policy and membership policy by Taimei Watanabe, General Manager of the Internatioanal Economic Cooperation Department of Mitsubishi Corporation. Appointed as the next co-representatives were Hiroshi Kanzaki, Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Okayama University (who is scheduled to take up the post of Okayama University Executive Director for International Affairs on April 1, 2017) and Taimei Watanabe, General Manager of the International Economic Cooperation Department, Mitsubishi Corporation.
In the meeting, major activities carried out during this fiscal year and activities planned for the next fiscal year were reported, based on which participants had a lively exchange of views and opinions.
