Myanmar Project

SixERS was assigned by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan to conduct and implement the “Coordinator for Study in Japan Project in Myanmar”. In order to expand the awareness and establish a strong framework of inviting students from Myanmar to study in Japan, we have allocated a “Study Abroad Coordinator” who is expected to recruit students who wish to study in Japan, and give support for any concerns related to study in Japan.

In addition to this project, we have been engaging in supportive projects with Myanmar for Human Development in Engineering, Medicine, and Health Sciences through faculty and student exchange.

In 2016, we established “Myanmar-Japan Platform for Human Resource Development (MJPF)” which consists of universities, government ministries, and private companies in Japan. MJPF will promote human resource development in Myanmar and deepen a cooperative relationship between Myanmar and Japan through collaboration among government, industry and academia.
